NOTE: Please see my other Mustang pace car auction that vehicle needs to be removed from property. Very nice well cared for rock solid original body black t-top survivor. Good dependable fun to drive vehicle that get's lot's of thumbs up driving around with t-tops either in or out. Very clean rust free body and super floors top and bottom. A well cared for vehicle used as a daily driver for summer use. A power polish, detail and some spray on ceramic wax would make the original paint look even more outstanding than it is now. Remnant's of the factory painted on pinstripe down the sides now mostly worn off but still faintly visible, Front bumper cover shows color loss on high points. There is paint loss here and there all around car with ding's, small dent's, paint scratches etc common with a 42 year old vehicle. Vehicles over all condition shows that it was garaged most it's life. Not the most powerful mustang but no slouch either, very lightweight and nimble, great stance and handles corners at speed very firmly, even better on twisty mountain roads and cloverleafs. PRO'SWould be hard pressed to find a nicer 1982 high quality example than this.1. Lowered slightly front and rear.2. Has tight close ratio steering.3. Leather wrap steering wheel w/ cruise control.4. Intermittent wipers.5... A.M/F.M. Ford stereo cassette (don't know if works) with Ford Premium sound amplifier pulldown knob that works with radio that does work but does static a little out of volume knob when touched, when left alone while playing not an issue.6.Very nice dash appointments and dash pad with no cracks. (comes with black dash cover shown for protection). 7. Very nice set of factory Ford 16" pony wheels.8. Added factory rear traction (Hopper) bars for looks.9. New tires.10. New tinted and blue top shaded windshield.11. New brakes.12. New halogen headlamps aimed correctly.13. New exhaust with new $1,500.00 catalytic converter. Vehicle will pass any state quick pass emissions test with ease including CA, CO, current emissions requirements.14. Updated new takeout 1992 Mustang LX black cloth seats front and back for more comfort and nicer look with more modern twin folding rear seats instead of the original one piece.15. Ford rear window Louvers.16. Nice glass all around.All original body with original paint less the hood and top of lower flat area of hatch with a small blend on left 1/4 for some reason but appears to be no damage to the body underneath. Hatch could use fresh paint.17. Fresh tune-up with wires and fluids, Starts right up every time cold.18. New battery.19. Gauges work fine, (see both photos of gauges when engine is running. Has high oil pressure, engine runs great.20. 3:27:1 traction locking rear end.21. Larger front and rear sway bars than stock. 22. Car has exceptional bones to build from.23. Clean/clear title in my name. Not many other than original drivers interior door panel has slight tear on very bottom of the sewn on vinyl bead where your foot sometimes touches getting in and out but not really noticeable, if the bead can be replaced in that color it would repair easily. (see photo) Door panel itself is free from tears or damage and just the sewn on lower edging vinyl bead that has tears..2. A/C needs recharged, never used it as it never get's hot enough here.3. Needs dome light.4. Needs better visors, not perfect but look okay.5. Usual small dings/dent's scratches from a 42 year old vehicle. 6. Hole wear on black plush hi pile carpet by accelerator pedal where foot rests with a couple of small ones where a floor mat would go, The rest of carpet throughout vehicle is very nice.7.Small bracket that connects both rear updated split seat needs to be anchored to the floor via either drilling two small holes through small bracket and placing two screws in, or two small tack welds. The seats functions fine as is, just never got around to it.8. Dependable and starts right up every time cold. When you drive it around a while and shut it off, to start back up you have to hold your foot to the floor and crank it a number of seconds before it starts (less than 30 seconds), (choke adjustment needed) Unfortunately the choke plate is riveted in two spots where it is not supposed to be adjusted due to emission compliance, so I never messed with it and just took a few more seconds to start when warm with your foot to the floor.9.Small oil drip from age. Clean original fun driving survivor to keep stock or build your way. Extra vehicle no longer has a garage spot and only reason for selling even though being hard to replace.
