Uni Thread is a waxed polyester bonded thread that is reinforced with multiple binder strands that twist around the core strands giving it a high breaking strength. These spools of 8/0 thread (72 denier weight) holds 200 yards and has a breaking strength of 19 oz., making it ideal for tying small size flies. I combine shipping costs but eBay no longer processes it. If multiple shipping cost appears at checkout I will refund the extra cost. If you find these at a lower price, including shipping, I'll beat it.Why would you want different colors? I usually like to identify the weight of my underwater flies according to the head color. I use red heads for heavily weighted flies, orange for medium, yellow for shallow water flies and black for unweighted nymphs and wet flies. I also like dry flies with different color heads. But most importantly, I try to match the body colors of materials that bleed through when wet, such as silk and floss.
